Our Model
Baraka Africa is intently working to address the United Nation’s Millennium Development
Goals by improving the quality of care for orphaned children. Our model is designed to
facilitate collaboration and eradicate the perception that vulnerable children are a
dependent and resource draining population.
By working with orphanages, networks of direct care providers, and community leaders,
we implement programs that enable sustainability, the development of legacy programs,
increased intake capacity, environmental conscientiousness, and better holistic care
for children. Baraka Africa strengthens the culture of care and emphasizes the
importance of community engagement throughout this process. Through this collaborative
process, we better equip the local communities to contribute to the development of their
future leaders and absorb them into the community as productive, contributing individuals.
